    Face Coverings in Public Areas

Will we not be enforcing the wearing of face coverings in and around the leisure club however will we still be encouraging members to do so.

All staff will continue to wear them.

Although covid restrictions have eased from the 19th July our first priority is the safety of our members. Therefore we still advise caution by requesting you continue to:

    • Use the hand sanitiser at the available stations
    • Continue to sanitise equipment in the gym and studio
    • Be mindful of distancing in areas like the changing rooms and when waiting for classes

Will I still need to book my gym sessions?
No. We will take away our booking system for the gym.

Does this mean I can come at any time and not be limited to an hour?
Yes. You may turn up at any time with no restriction on duration.

Will I need to continue to clean down my equipment?
It is commonplace in gyms to sanitise equipment even before covid. We would ask everyone to continue wiping down all equipment used.

Will all the equipment be in use?
Yes. All equipment previously put out of service for distancing purposes will be available to use.

    The Pool

The Pool is divided into five lanes, and we have decided to keep this in place. We believe this is a fair and sensible way for all to use the pool.

Will restrictions be lifted on the heat rooms and spa?
Yes. Multiple households will now be able to use the steam room, sanarium and spa.

    Fitness Classes

Will I still need to book classes?
Yes. The booking system will remain for all classes.

Will the capacity in classes change?
Yes. Class capacity will go back to the pre-covid max of 18. These classes will include all three Les Mills programmes. Maximum class capacity will vary from class to class mainly due to equipment.

Will the studio timetable be changing?
Yes, but not right away. New guidelines will enable us to put on more classes and tweak the timings. We aim to launch a new timetable from the 2nd August 2021 to allow us to put all the necessary things in place since the announcement.
