Pool Policy

Guests wishing to use the pool and poolside facilities between 10am and 6pm can book a 2-hour adult poolside session, complete with a reserved lounger, robe and towels, at no cost.

Poolside Session times:

• 10:00am – 12:00pm
• 12:00pm – 2:00pm
• 2:00pm – 4:00pm
• 4:00pm – 6:00pm

Please note: 2-hour sessions must be booked in advance. These can be booked online in advance during the booking process. One 2-hour session can be booked per room per night of your stay. Please view the full T&Cs in the section below.

Adult hotel guests have complimentary access to our pool and poolside facilities, 7 days a week before 10am and after 6pm. 

Monday to Friday:

• 6:30am – 10:00am
• 6:00pm – 10:00pm

Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays:

• 7:30am – 10:00am
• 6:00pm – 8:00pm

Please note: Poolside loungers are available on a first-come-first-served basis. Guests do not need to book in advance for free swim sessions. Children’s swim times apply.

Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays:

• 8:00 am – 9:00 am
• 6:00 pm – 7:30 pm

Monday to Friday (during the Suffolk and Essex state school holidays only):

• 8:00 am – 9:00 am

Please note: There is no need to book between the above times. There will be no lifeguard in attendance on the poolside. We have strict child supervision policies in place, which are detailed below.

Child Supervision Policy:

• One adult to every child under the age of 5 years
• One adult to every two children aged 6-8 years
• No adult can supervise more than three children at any one time
• All children under the age of 16 years are to be accompanied by an adult at all times
• Children of nappy-wearing age are required to wear a waterproof nappy

Pool Rules:

• Children’s swimming is only permitted for hotel and lodge residents
• Clean towels will be provided and can be taken back to the rooms if required
• No floats or swimming equipment will be available for hire
• Access to the hot tub is only permitted for children over 16 years of age

Due to the depth of our swimming pool, there will be no lifeguard in attendance on the poolside.

• The two-hour bookable session is only available to adults. Children’s swim times apply
• We recommend that you book your 2-hour session at the time of booking your stay. Any bookings after this date are subject to availability and can be made by calling our Reservations Team on 01206 262836
• One 2-hour session can be booked per guest, per room, per night of your stay
• Pool session times are fixed. The closing time remains, despite any late arrivals
• Robes are provided on arrival at the Spa for your booked session.
• Adult free swim times outside of the times shown do not require to be booked in advance, poolside loungers during this time are subject to availability
• The Peake Spa Team reserve the right to remove any guests staying beyond their booked pool session
• Opening times may vary
• Spaces are subject to availability
• This offer can be withdrawn at any time

Flip-flops can be purchased at Peake Reception for £2.50 per pair.
