Reporting to the Wedding & Events Team Leader, you will be responsible for wedding and event sales within the hotel and company. We are looking for a pragmatic individual who can build guest relationships and keep calm in a fast-paced environment, with an ability to build relationships to produce successful sales and events.

Job responsibilities:

  • Achieving sales of weddings and events for the Resort based on targets and KPIs
  • Complete a smooth handover to produce and send initial contracts/function sheets to clients
  • Meet clients as requested to discuss arrangements and invite clients to view facilities
  • Attend and complete all planning meetings
  • Amend and review all function sheets as and when required with the client
  • On-day coordination for weddings and events
  • Working closely with all departments to maximise service opportunities
  • Identifying and reporting on business opportunities in target markets
  • Conduct social/wedding sales appointments on weekends and evenings as required
  • To use creativity to offer clients innovative solutions and add value which can be delivered through expertise and experience of large events planning
  • Ensure all accounting-related aspects of each booking are acted upon and accurate
  • Assisting with the Hotel’s Wedding Fayres and Open Evenings
  • Attend internal function and operations meetings to discuss upcoming events
  • Ensure smooth handover from the Events Team to the Front of House team
  • Meet and greet clients on the day for large events
  • Make feedback calls post-event for possible rebooking
  • Deliver against Key Performance Indicators and report across conferences, golf days, events and weddings
