To help you make the most of your golf experience with us, we have answered some of our most commonly asked questions. Please give our friendly Golf Team a call if you have any further questions ahead of your next visit on 01206 262836.
How do I book a tee time?
You can view our Green Fee prices and book tee times online using the Book Now button.
Which is the better course to play?
The Gainsborough and Constable are both championship courses and enjoy equal standing at the resort. We pride ourselves in maintaining both courses to an exceptionally high standard.
When should I arrive before my tee time?
We would recommend that you make your way to the tee ten minutes before your tee time. Please arrive at our Golf Shop in plenty of time to check in and purchase any golf items or refreshments.
How do I book a buggy and how much are they to hire?
Buggies are £40.00 and can be reserved and paid for online when you book your tee time, or when you arrive on the day.
We recommend that you book buggies in advance to avoid disappointment.
You can book your buggy by calling our Pro Shop on 01206 262836.
What are your course rules and course etiquette?
We kindly ask that all of our visitors follow a few simple rules to ensure that everyone can enjoy their game of golf and our courses remain in the best possible condition.
- Avoid slow play - keep up with the group in front
- Replace all divots
- Repair all pitch marks on the green
- Follow the instruction of the Course Marshal, Golf Shop, Golf Pros, Golf Secretary or other member of staff as directed
- The Greenkeepers have priority on the courses
- Behaviour should be such that it does not interfere with other guests or members

The Pro Shop is open daily from 7am - 7pm, 364 days per year.
Do you sell golf merchandise and clubs, etc?
The Pro Shop stocks a wide range of golfing attire, accessories, clubs, and much more. Be sure to stop in during your visit!
Can I book a golf break and a spa break in one package?
Yes, you can! Please visit our Golf Breaks page where you can find out more and send us an enquiry with your requirements.
Which tees can I play from?
All of our teeing options are open to any gender. Typically, we recommend Green for Men and Yellow for Ladies.
What is the dress code for the golf course?
Our dress code is a similar standard to most golf clubs:
For men, shirts must be tucked in and have collars or mock collars and sleeves, with knee-length tailored shorts or long trousers. Long, ankle or trainer socks are to be worn with golf shoes.
For women, shirts with collars, skirts, trousers or tailored shorts, and socks with golf shoes.
Can I make changes to my booking?
Please call our Pro Shop to make changes to a booked tee time, or contact our Golf Breaks team to check if changes can be made to your golf break booking tee time. Changes to Golf Society Days must be made by the lead organiser, liaising with our Golf team.
What happens if there is bad weather during my round of golf?
We know how annoying it can be when you book a golf break, check the weather and find out it’s due to rain all day! That’s why we’ve created our Rain Check Guarantee for all golf breaks taking place throughout the winter months here at SbN.
Our Rain Check Guarantee allows you to change your booking up to 24 hours before your arrival time, so your break won’t be a washout!
T&Cs: Rain Check Guarantee is only valid if you notify us of the change before 24 hours prior to your original arrival time (tee time or check-in, whichever is earlier). Re-booking is subject to availability and is only valid within the same season of the original booking. Bookings can only be moved once.
Do I have to pay a deposit?
Deposits are taken at the time of booking your golf break, with full payment taken when bookings fall within eight weeks. Deposits are not required when booking a round of golf. Full payment is taken for visitors when booking a tee time.
I am not a member. When can I book a tee time?
Visitor tee times can be booked a maximum of 4 days in advance.
