Dedham Vale Boat Trips with The River Stour Trust
If you would prefer to let someone else do the hard work for you, sit back and relax on a boat trip with The River Stour Trust. Regular scheduled and chartered trips are available throughout the spring, summer and autumn, operating on the stunning stretch of the River Stour between Stratford St Mary, Flatford, Dedham and Brantham.

Delve deeper into the rich art heritage of the Dedham Vale by ‘Walking in the Footsteps of Constable’ on the popular 4 to 7-mile walk. Explore the area made famous by John Constable’s 18th century paintings, passing famous sights such as Flatford Mill, Willy Lott’s House and the site of The Hay Wain painting. We are fortunate to be just a 30-minute drive from a great selection of beaches along the Essex coast. During the summer months, pack up your bucket and spade and spend a day by the sea!
